The ABSTRACT THINKING series is a digitally transformed and recontextualizied improvisation based on my original photographs of ordinary and often inconspicuous objects. It followed the ARCHITECTURAL FANTASIES series, inspired by my lifelong fascination with the works of Catalonian architect Antoni Gaudi and the Art Nouveau movement, and reflects my love and admiration for Gustav Klimt and a group of such Russian artists as Leon Bakst and Benua who designed the costumes and sets for Diaghilev's Ballets Russes.
